TEACHING
With over 35 years of experience in piano teaching, I have guided students from absolute beginners to advanced diploma pupils, achieving a high pass rate for grades 5 and above. My extensive teaching career includes working with both children and adults, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.
In 2011, I established The Bell School of Music, providing peripatetic instrumental teaching within schools. This venture has included notable institutions such as Willow Tree Primary School in Harrogate and currently King James’s Secondary School in Knaresborough. Besides piano, I also teach saxophone and voice and have experience teaching flute, clarinet, cello, and drums/percussion.

As a professional accompanist and exam coach, I offer comprehensive aural and theory training. Additionally, I provide A-level and GCSE composition coaching, helping students excel in their academic music studies.
